Its a great app my students enjoy it a lot and help them see that we are not only learning concepts and reactions. Chemistry is essential for living and there was no better way of showing them than Body Chemistry did.
WHY CHEMISTRY?
It is the branch of science concerned with the substances of which matter is composed, the investigation of their properties and reactions, and the use of such reactions to form new substances.
DESIGN
This game was develop in the apple software Xcode with is an specific tool to create your own application for the App Store.
The game has two surfaces. First, you have the interactive part, the game. Its a game in which you have to click and swap the elements each part of your body has. When you complete a set of 3 or more elements in row (horizontal or vertical). They will create a reaction which will give you points. Depending on the level you will have specific moves or a time out.
The second interface is the educative one, there is another menu where all the elements that you play with are arrange in rows. When the student selects one it appears how it works in your body and why is is important.
